The President’s Annual Report—2008
The year 2008 has been an excellent one for the leaders and members of the IIHFD. We refer to 2008 as the year of renovations. In 2007, we rented a building that is approximately fourteen thousand four hundred square feet. The primary dream for this rental facility is to renovate and make it the official home for the Human Factor Leadership Academy (HFLA) education program. By the end of 2008, we had channeled a tremendous amount of financial resources into the renovation program. The renovation program would be concluded by the end of February 2009. The Human Factor Leadership Academy is scheduled to be inaugurated in the fall of 2009.
When completed, this facility will house classrooms, administrative office space, faculty offices, restrooms, university library, a cafeteria/Chapel, student lounge, and a computer as well as a nursing laboratory. The facility will be equipped with modern technology, electricity, modern teaching technology, and water resources. At its inception, the education program of the HFLA will include:

HFLA School of the Health Sciences
In the year 2010 the HFLA School of the Health Sciences will be launched. The program will begin with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Nursing. Subsequently, as the Nursing Education Program takes shape, a Dentistry Education Program will be added. An integral aspect of the Nursing and Dentistry Education Programs is the HFLA’s Rural Development Program (RDP). The RDP will concentrate on rural community health, sanitation, and environmental upkeep.
In every subsequent year, a new grade level and academic program will be added until the whole institution is built and fully functioning at all levels—through to Graduate School. The whole education program at the HFLA will be built and be fully functioning within a twenty-five year time period.
